About The Course
The GAIN-IPAN FFIA Certification Course is tailored for Food Safety Inspectors, Food Auditors, Quality Assurance Personnel, and Regulatory Affairs Professionals. It is based on the foundations and principles of Food Safety Management Systems, particularly underpinned by FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000. It is designed to equip participants with skills relevant to the application of Food Safety Management Principles to food fortification.
- The Training course involves two (2) progressive Levels (Level 1 & 2). Successful candidates will receive a Certificate after completing the entire course sit and pass an internationally accredited certification examination according to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17024: 2012 (Conformity assessment – general requirements for bodies operating certification of persons) administered by IPAN-SoTLAN Conformance Systems Ltd. (IPAN-SoTLAN PCB). Passing this examination would earn candidates certification as Certified Inspectors and Auditors in Food Fortification.
Candidates will be enrolled/registered for the first Level based on their scores in the pre-assessment test, immediately after applying for the course. After passing the first Level examination, candidates will be promoted to the second Level of the Certification Course.
Course Description
This course establishes a strong foundation for understanding the principles of Food Fortification and applying food safety management systems for its regulation and control. The Training Program offers comprehensive instruction on food fortification, food safety, and quality control, structured into modules covering essential food safety principles, fortification processes, compliance frameworks, and best industry practices. The Certification Program enables candidates to demonstrate competence in the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to support and implement effective food fortification and safety measures.
Duration
The maximum period for the first level is three months, while to complete the course, you require a maximum period of 6 Months.
